Born out of the sounds and sentiments of Burlington ,Vermont, Karavan combines soulful lyrics and layers of intricate instrumental to create a warm, powerful sound. Bringing together the talents of Katy Hellman (piano and vocals), Mitch Manaceck (bass), Kris Hardy (percussion), Jon Portman (guitar and vocals) and Ben Chussid (guitar) Karavan aims to make the mind bend and the body move.
Gnomedad is a funky, jazzmafied beat-odyssey that combines elements of party, leisure, and beauty with intricate grooves, synthtastic explosions, and bluesy motifs. The dynamic quartet’s scope of genres includes experimental, classical, drum&bass, middle-eastern, metal, funk fusion, and untold fortune. Pentatonic meets octatonic. Chord progressions meet freedom. Vintage meets modern. Fresh from Burlington, Gnomedad takes the stage.
