Kind Bud's Kind Dubs

Bud of ‘The Kind Buds’ has launched his solo project, Kind Dubs and is creating live guitar overdubs with a looper which he then takes leads off of. If listeners closed their eyes they would think there were 3 guitars playing. Bud’s soft, strong voice is sweet and true, reaching the heart and soul of listeners. Arty Lavigne of WDEV Radio Vermont had this to say of Kind Bud, “Kind Dubs – One voice, one guitar creating one community everywhere he goes!”. A Rex Foundation artist, Bud played, for the second year in a row, the Grateful Dead Night at Fenway Park, performing in the Boston House of Blues prior to game to raise funds for the Rex Foundation. Last month, Bud performed for the 5th year at the Rock N Roll Resort, the only musician to perform at the event for 5 consecutive years. Music lovers may have also seen Kind Bud perform at these great festivals: The Gathering of the Vibes; Nateva; Bears Picnic; StrangeCreek; Wormtown; Stonehenge; Shuck N Jive; Oregon Country Fair.

Kind Bud has shared the stage with Oteil Burbridge, of the Allman Brothers Band and Dead & Company, David Gans, The New Riders of the Purple Sage, Hayley Jane of the Primates, to name a few.

Sam Cutler, former Tour Manager of the Rolling Stones & Grateful Dead had this to say about The Kind Buds, “ My earliest memories of music I loved were of the Everly Brothers ~ The Kind Buds remind me of them, a fabulous combination of wonderful vocals & hot guitar-playing. The Kind Buds have got it all, if I were younger I would manage them in a flat minute.” Sam Cutler went on to write on his Facebook page the next day, “The Kind Buds play the best acoustic version of the Grateful Dead I have ever heard”.
