Navytrain is an alternative folk rock trio based in Burlington, VT. They’re dedicated fan base has been growing rapidly since their inception in September 2016. A rigorous gig schedule has earned them shows at notable Northeast Venue’s such as Higher Ground and Nectar’s, and festivals such as Tumble Down and Waking Windows. A victory at UVM’s battle of the bands has placed them alongside Two Door Cinema Club for the university’s 2017 Spring Fest. In addition to the strong foundation of shows, Navytrain released their first EP in December, 2016. The band’s soulful sound has proven refreshing to the music scene in the Northeast.
Kudu Stooge is a 4-piece collective of musicians based in Burlington on their way to their first string of live gigs, playing from a full length album’s worth of original songs soon to be released on an unnamed album this summer. With this enigmatic emergence comes a blend of stylings influenced by blues, psych-rock, funk, and jazz artists, viciously headed and shredded by lefty and righty guitarists, and accompanied by a rhythmic ensemble of funky fresh bass and savagely precise drums. Kudu Stooge is looking to take Burlington by a summer storm; they’re a silly animal.
