Harsh Armadillo is an emphatic group of extremophiles jonesing to help you find your ass and make it dance all night. Their eight-piece ensemble rocks an original combination of funk, jazz and hip-hop roots characterized by sultry vocal harmonies, raucous horn lines, a face-melting guitar duo, and a rhythm section that will put you in a diaper before sixty-five. They were born in a pool of gasoline somewhere in Durham, New Hampshire and are looking forward to acoustically massaging you to completion someday soon.
Eugene Tyler Band
As much musical brothers as bandmates, Eugene Gardner and Daniel Tyler grew up learning how to play guitar together. They have been collaborating for over a decade, even though they are in their early twenties. Their styles, though distinct, were developed in partnership with each other through years of shared bands and musical experiences.
After Eugene graduated from the music program at SUNY Oneonta, and Daniel graduated from the University of Vermont, they decided to work on a new project, seeking out Marc Jaffee who had produced some of their previous work, and had acted as a mentor since they were young teens. Upon hearing the quality of songs they were writing, Jaffee committed to them as producer, manager and record label, and they recorded the debut album, Eugene Tyler Band. Eugene and Daniel are presently touring as an acoustic duo in support of the album.
