Lucid

Barreling out of the northern woods like a grizzled bear on speed, Lucid, the hardest working band in the North Country (Upstate NY and VT), careens across the musical spectrum as a V8 blend of genres emerge- from jazz to rock, honky-tonk blues to reggae.

The central core of Lucid has been evolving together for nearly a decade, with just a few line-up changes, the most recent being the addition of Josh West on the drums. Josh is joined by Lowell Wurster (percussion, harp and vocals), Kevin Sabourin (guitar and vocals), Jamie Armstrong (saxophones, clarinet and vocals), Chris Shacklett (bass, trombone and vocals), and Andrew Dellar (keyboards, accordion and vocals).

Lucid shows no sign of stopping. Weathering such band-crushing events as line-up changes, and the most recent loss of their well-known tour bus “Lucy,” they continue to perform, they continue to produce new hits, and continue to grow into a brotherhood not seen in most other bands.

Lucid’s travels continue to take the band farther, their territory expanding with each weekend. Growing outward from their Adirondack home base, Lucid can be regularly seen all over the Northeast; from Rhode Island and Connecticut, to Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York and Vermont, they keep fans moving and shaking and eager for more. The Lucid bus has ventured all the way down the East Coast to Florida and back and is looking forward to upcoming tours that will take them West.

“Living in a ski town, one constantly hears the adage, ‘if you like it now, you should have been here 10 years ago, before all these people showed up’,” said Garret K. Woodward (Roving Festival Writer/State of Mind Music Magazine). “The funny thing is, in 10 years, I’ll probably be saying the same thing about Lucid and the unforgettable presence they create onstage and out of your speakers.”

Gang of Thieves

Gang of Thieves are pioneering a new breed of American Rock n Roll, injecting funky riffs, catchy melodies, and electric violin into unforgettable high energy performances. From Opera Houses to Music Halls, and Colleges to Preschools, the Gang has captivated audiences of all ages from around the globe. The band released their new EP “Totem”(December 8th), recorded with grammy winning engineer Michael Rosen (Santana, Rancid, Less than Jake), featuring singles “Raise Your Head” and “The Way I Feel”.

Gang of Thieves was formed in 2009 when cousins Michael Reit (Vocals) and Tobin Salas (Bass) joined forces with close friend Nicholas Wood (Guitar). Since then the Gang has played close to 1,000 shows through 38 states, receiving the title of “Road Warriors” from publishers around the country. During this time the Gang was joined by family and friends alike on guitar, drums, and horns, only just recently reverting back to a powerhouse 4 piece rock and roll outfit with Taylor Whipple (formerly of Lynguistic Civilians) on drums. Previous renditions of the Gang can be heard on their Dinosaur Sandwich Party album (2011, 4 Piece), Thunderfunk album (2014, 5 piece), and Born to be Loud album (2016, 6 piece).

The Chroma Concept

The Chroma Concept was formed shortly after New Year of 2011. They met at Berklee College of Music, where they developed their vision and honed their sound. The group seeks to combine instrumental music with electronic styles. Centered around improvisation, they mix grooves such as Funk, Drum’n’Bass & Trip Hop freely within the framework of their jazz-influenced compositions. The group is currentl…y Ezra Platt (guitar/efx), Mike Clairmont (bass/synth bass/efx), Ben Atkind (drums) and Joao Nogueira (keys). They have already performed at many of New England’s premier nightclubs during their first year, including the Middle East Upstairs & Corner (Summer ’11 residency), The Wonder Bar, Johnny D’s, Church Boston, Stone Church NH, Parima Burlington, Sullivan Hall NYC, Mill St. Brews and Copperfields. In January of 2012 the band released The Escape, an EP that musically illustrates the first chapter of their musical journey. During the summer of 2012, The Chroma Concept was featured on music festivals such as Uphoria, Camp Coldbrook, Freak Jazz On Great Bay and Wormtown Music Festival. Now approaching their third year, The Chroma Concept is poised to unveil the next chapter.  This is a band that is in the midst of infiltrating the US creative music scene with their mind-bending, powerful music.
