Kudu Stooge is a 4-piece collective of musicians based in Burlington on their way to their first string of live gigs, playing from a full length album’s worth of original songs soon to be released on an unnamed album this summer. With this enigmatic emergence comes a blend of stylings influenced by blues, psych-rock, funk, and jazz artists, viciously headed and shredded by lefty and righty guitarists, and accompanied by a rhythmic ensemble of funky fresh bass and savagely precise drums. Kudu Stooge is looking to take Burlington by a summer storm; they’re a silly animal.
Super Stash Bros
Tight, adventurous, high-energy and memorable are all adjectives that could be used to describe your mom, but today they are being used to describe the music of the Super Stash Bros. The Stash Bros are a Vermont-based band that came together for the love of tight, hip hop inspired grooves with hints of funk, reggae, r&b and rock. Though they are not necessarily a jam band they do improvise and jam pretty hard from time to time. Come check ’em out sometime. You will not be disappointed (and bring your mom, she loves to dance)
Fiddlehead is the by-product of chance mating between James Brown, The Grateful dead, and Frank Zappa. Zany, Off the wall, Absurdist Lyrics with a full appreciation of Dada, Driven home with Tight Funk grooves, and tasty electric improvisations. Chaos always defined within structured limits, but allowed to breathe the free air none the less. Existing in their own Parallel Bubble World, in some ways superior to the mundane one,Fiddlehead’s Core Four members live, breathe, and cohese with what is not just a band,
but a Way of Life.
