Tar Iguana is a five-piece, reptilian-rock outfit. Orthodox instrumentation steers their sound through dynamic takes on space tone. Fuzzed-out drift coupled with wah-wah disco, floating about a dubby nebulous.
Forming in early 2011, Skyfoot has played 250+ shows all across the United States, and has supported acts such as Aqueous, Consider The Source, McLovins, Hornitz, Otis Grove, Mr. F, Big Mean Sound Machine, and Haley Jane and the Primates. You’ll find them rocking New England regularly, making their way down the eastern seaboard in the Carolinas and Virginias, and on occasion, touring the Northwest U.S. with shows in Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and Montana.
Tyler Arnott, on guitar and vocals, thoughtfully threads through songs and jams with his genuine and tasty finger style playing. Eric McEwen, on keyboards and lead vocals, confidently blazes melodic trails while voicing mellifluous lyrics. James Taylor, on bass, provides the low end of the spectrum. Aaron Morey, on drums, fills out the rest with a dynamic approach to jam drumming with reverence to all the best drummers of the scene.
Skyfoot’s 2012 debut album “Eternal Bend” features nine original songs including favorites Maybe Mississippi, Indigo, and The Mountain. July 2014 the band released their 2nd studio album entitled “Room For Space” recorded in West Springfield, MA at the Rotary Records. Many live concert releases are also available right here on the website and on archive.org!
